Registration for the Summer School and/or the Workshop

You can apply for both the Summer School (Aug 29 - Sept 02) and the Workshop (Sept 05-06) by completing the Registration_Form .
Applicants will be asked to indicate their preferred option: school (S), workshop (W) or school+workshop (SW).
Please submit the Registration Form by June 30, 2022

Notification of acceptance by July 4, 2022

For participants for the School only, you need to submit a short CV .

For students who want to be considered for waiving of the registration fees, please submit a reference letter from an academic supervisor.
For others (Post-Doc, Researcher, Lecturer, etc.) who want to be considered for waiving of the registration fees, please submit a justification letter.

Abstract submission deadline for the Workshop, Sep 05-06

Applicants must indicate their preferred option: school (S), workshop (W) or school+workshop (SW).
Please submit abstracts for oral presentations to the workshop by June 30, 2022

Notification of acceptance by July 4, 2022

Participation is also possible with a poster presentation.
Posters are still accepted until August 26, 2022

Fees

Fees include participation to the school / workshop, student accommodation in shared (double) rooms, lunches at FORTH, refreshments, coffee breaks, Wednesday excursion, and one school dinner in common on Thursday night in a restaurant in town.
Registration fees for the school or, independently, for the workshop, or for both, are:


Before July 15: 200 euros for the school (S) or, independently, 100 euros for the workshop (W), but only 200 euros for the combined school+workshop (SW) option, i.e., no added fees for school participants who will also attend the workshop with an accepted talk or poster. [250 euros for attendants to the school and workshop without giving a talk or poster at the workshop]
After July 15: 250 euros for the school (S) or, independently, 100 euros for the workshop (W), but only 250 euros for the combined school+workshop (SW) option, i.e., no added fees for school participants who will also attend the workshop with an accepted talk or poster. [300 euros for attendants to the school and workshop without giving a talk or poster at the workshop]

Accommodation will be free for all registered participants until hotel check-out on Saturday September 03 (S only) or on Wednesday September 07 (W and SW). Hotel check-in should be done on Sunday August 28 (S and SW) or on Sunday September 04 (W only)

A limited number of PhD students on a first-come first-served basis according to fund availability, and on recommendation from their supervisors, might be waived from fees.

As much as possible, Ukrainian and exiled Russian PhD students and academics will be totally waived from fees.
