International workshop, September 05-06
The workshop will be dedicated to talks on various advanced aspects of mathematical biology, presented in the Summer school during the previous week, August 29 - September 02. All themes of mathematical biology, including mathematical ecology and evolutionary theory, mentioned during the school, are eligible for presentations. All aspects of mathematical modelling of biological, ecological and medical questions, model analysis, simulation and control when relevant, are welcome.
Sessions will be programmed on Monday 5 and Tuesday 6.

The number of participants to the workshop will be limited, as for the school, to 35-40 (see the Deadlines for registration and fees). A limited number of PhD students on a first-come first-served basis according to fund availability, and on recommendation from their supervisors, might be waived from fees.
Participation of PhD students coming from regional universities (i.e., of the neighbouring Mediterranean region, e.g., Greek, Turkish, Israeli, etc.) is encouraged, but by no means exclusive. Support for travelling expenses may further be asked from supporting institutions such as EMS, ESMTB, or others, but cannot be taken in charge by the organising Committee.
